Happy Holidays Everyone! Hopefully your Christmas was delightful. I think I need another two weeks just to recoup. I'm exhausted! We still have one more family Christmas to celebrate. I am looking forward to seeing all the aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. Speaking of cousins, between Max and I, four of our cousins are going to have babies this spring, all within a month of each other. So far, we know that there are three baby girls on the way. Beth is having twins!! Wow.
I think in my last post I had mentioned the stomach flu going around. There has been someone sick in our house since then! Jakob came home Christmas day with the flu, Emmy has had two ear infections, strep throat, and now she has pneumonia! Geez! We her on abuteral and steriod nebulizers now. Unfortunately, I think she got the Janicke gene for asthma. Hannah has been well.

We have enjoyed lots of time with our family and friends. Uncle Brian was home from Santa Fe, and Uncle Nick came in from Palm Springs. It's fun for the kids to see them. We are going to be taking a trip out to Palm Springs in February, and staying at Nick's. We are all very excited about that! Can't wait to enjoy the warm sun for a few days. Eventually, I would like to take a long weekend to go see Brian in New Mexico, too.

Got any New Year's resolutions?! I'm not usually one to set New Year's resolutions, but I would like to make it a goal to get Emmy's scrapbook up to date. I feel so bad, I think I have the first four months of her life documnted so far. I know, many of you don't have any scrapbooks, but seeing that Jakob has about four volumes done, I better be fair! Hannah, being the middle child, has two done (through about 2 1/2 years!) I'm telling you, there should be another day in the week. We need more time to get more stuff done! I'm having some girlfriends over today to work on scappin'.
Best wishes to you all for a very happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.
