"What would you want, mom, swimming every week or winter?!"

Well, we're back! We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting Nick and Amanda in Palm Springs. It's just beautiful there. Palm trees, cacti, pools, sun. Did I mention sun? The weather was perfect - about 78-85 while we were there. On Sunday we took a trip up the mountain by tram. The view of the desert is amazing, and once your up that high, there's snow and pine trees. We also got to go to the local zoo called "The Living Desert". Shopping, eating, drinking, relaxing, and enjoying time with Nonnie, Opa, Nick and Amanda. Life doesn't get any better than that! The kids absolutely loved the airplane ride. Hannah was about to jump out of her skin once we landed in Palm Springs. She was bursting with excitement saying things like "this is just so beautiful!" After landing in Mpls. and getting into our freezing car, Jakob cried and asked "why can't we live there? Just why? Can't we just live there for the winter?! It's not fair.
